Windows Instructions:

1.) If you have not already done so, obtain the console version srcds for Windows through Steam. Directions for doing this can be found on srcds.com. When you do this, you should update "hl2mp" using the -game hl2mp option to hldsupdatetool.

2.) Download the dedicated server ZIP file and unzip to your srcds folder, using WinZIP or another unzipping tool.

3.) Run srcds with the -game planofattack flag, along with any other flags you would normally use. For example:

start /wait /high srcds.exe -console -game planofattack -autoupdate -maxplayers 16 +map light

We recommend that you use a batch file to keep srcds running. A sample batch file can be found on srcds.com.

Linux Instructions:

1.) Obtain srcds for Linux through steam. Directions can be found at srcds.com. When you do this, you should update "hl2mp" using the -game hl2mp option to steam.

2.) Download the dedicated server ZIP file and unzip to your srcds folder. Most distros come with an unzip tool; if you do not have one, you can get one at http://www.info-zip.org.

3.) Run srcds_run with the -game planofattack flag. For example:

./srcds_run -console -game planofattack -autoupdate -maxplayers 16 +map light

You may add -debug if you wish to get core dumps from crashes.
